The Alpine Club of Pakistan recently wrapped up the recovery mission on Broad Peak, bringing down the final bodies of climbers killed in the devastating slide. This operation closed a dark chapter for the international mountaineering community, which lost ten climbers, including legendary Nepali mountaineer Nirmal Purja.

Out of the ten lives lost, seven bodies were successfully recovered and returned to their families. Three climbers remain missing in hard-to-reach areas, with operations paused until conditions permit further searching.
